Hi,

We are using viceversa to clone a large file server with around 30 shares and around 11TB of data.

I have viceversa configured with 15 profiles using file change detection (sub folder). Profile 1-10 are single source/target profiles, while 11-15 are configured with multiple source/targets (4-5 each).

I note that some of the profiles will regularly kick off a full recomparison, the following error is thrown:
New Changes: Some changes were missed, full recomparison required.
Changes Currently Being Processed: Full recomparison underway. Some changes were missed, full recomparison required.

My question - is there any way we can use the tracking database when the job type is backup?

Can we use the no-rescan option in the profile and not use real time scanning in vvengine (or a combination of both).

The outcome I would like to see is that the software can process all profiles in vvengine and if a file copy operation is NOT successful, the software just skips and tries again during the next run.

Thanks
Matthew

Yes, the two can be used together. For a backup operation you would enable no-rescanning of target.

Re skipping files, there's the option to skip files in profile settings -> advanced settings.

thanks
