I have a server with 35 clients and one time the server shutdown, causing chaos for few hours to switch the server to another PC.

I want a simple software to setup a mirroring server. I'm using Windows Server 2008, LAN, my application using MySQL database.

Which product is suitable for me.
Please advise

I want it as a duplicate server, when the main server down, this backup server can automatically replace as main server. I remember when Windows NT era, it's called primary domain and secondary domain. but I'm not a technical guy, I looking for an easier way.

So the tool will continuously sync the servers without me doing anything.

I need the tool which can sync the whole server, not just folders.

ViceVersa will replicate folders and files, not the entire OS. You could use ViceVersa to replicate the entire OS using Volume Shadow Copy ( http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item33.htm ) if source and target are identical servers or better would be to run the server in a virtual machine and duplicate the VM using ViceVersa.

Alternatively you could could create a Virtual Machine VHD file of your server volumes and use that as a backup :

I can prepare two identical PCs, installed with the same everything (Windows, programs).
The tools will automatically sync the MySQL database folder.
when one server down, the other server will automatically take over.
Can ViceVersa do it?

Hi, if the two hardware platforms are identical and you copy an entire volume using Volume Shadow Copy in ViceVersa it should work.

Hi,

you'll receive a license code that can be used for ViceVersa PRO 32-bit or 64-bit.

thanks
