I have been experimenting with this option on profiles transferring large numbers of small files. In some cases it does seem to have some performance benefit.
But what other pros and cons are there with this type of transfer? What are the practical considerations outside of transfer speed of smaller files? Are there other drawbacks? If not, why use the internal algo at all?
Thanks in advance for any input. |

Hi, initially ViceVersa did not support this option. Then it was discovered that the native Windows copy was faster in some cases, hence we added this option. If copy performance is not critical , I would not use this option and keep using the ViceVersa internal copy algorithm. thanks _________________ --
