Clean install, clean boot, service enabled in Windows as automatic start. Task Manager "processes" tab shows two instances of VVLauncher.exe - is this normal? I am having trouble 'enabling' the service... |

Yes, oce is the service and the other is the icon that is present in the Windows icon tray. This is normal when VVLauncher is installed as a service. _________________ --

I don't recall doing anything "special" but when I boot the service runs twice - once as my user account, and again as SYSTEM. I have it set to send me an email after completion, so I get two emails. In other words, my profile is set to run every ten minutes, so I'll get completion emails at:
- 12:00
- 12:02
- 12:10
- 12:12 (etc...)
It seems difficult to control when/where/how the service runs, how many instances, and how to administer. Any ideas? |

Sorry about the double post, the site was timing out.
Basically the question is why is the VVLauncher profile executing twice if there's only one place to set the interval, and only one interval can be set? Thanks... |

Yes this is very strange.
I suggest that you first uninstall the VVLauncher service using InstServ. Then shutdown / restart. Launch VVLaunhcer again. Check that only one instance is now running.
After that try to install again using InstServ. Please let me know how it goes, thank you. _________________ --
