Hi,

I'm trying to set up real time synchronisation with vvengine. I have about 300GB of files which I want to mirror to another location. My problem is that the initial full recomparison takes place, but when that's over, the files have changed and it wants to do another full recomparison. I can't get out of that loop and get the real time sync started. How can I get out of this situation and get to do real time syncing?

thanks!

Hi, what's the reason given by VVEngine on why another full recomparison is needed after the first one? thanks

Hi,

It's "Changes Detected - Full recomarison required". It seems to have settled down now anyway, and is doing incrementals mostly with a full recomparison every few hours. Good enough for us anyway. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi, on the VVEngine profile page, if you click on "Show Details and History..." and then on "[Go to Previously Detected Changes list on this page]", it will show more info on the reason why a full re-comparison was required. Usually it's that changes were too fast and could not be traced or they were too many (e.g. more than 10000 since last run).
