Hi, if VVEngine is not running it will not detect changes: a full re-comparison is needed in that case. If it's running then the changes are stored in a database until next run.

perhaps then a nice option to add would be run a full comparison if profile has been disabled for x amount of time? of then i need to disable a profile to swap out drives or other reason.

I think in that case I would always run a full re-comparison manually when the profile is enabled again, just to be sure there were no changes?

yes the problem is when you have 100's of profiles. You cant go through one by one looking for the ones that involve the drives being swapped. You have to disable everything then enable everything. What is needed is either the option to group profiles so i could add all affected profiles to a group and only enable and re-enable that one and go through one by one on those profiles and specify full recomparison. But what would be really great is a global option to run next schedules run for all profiles with full re comparison. Even better to addf that option to a group of profiles too.

Hi, maybe something that could be of help:

a) you set profile categories in VVEngine (in the scheduling options)
b) there is a full rescan condition to force full rescans (also in the scheduling options). I am wondering if there's a condition that would satisfy your requirements?

thanks
