|
|
I recently moved from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Since the change, VVEngine (v2.1 (Build 2103)) scheduled backups no longer recognise my network drives and the only schedule that works is one that has both source and target on the host machine.
This is rather mystifying as no other programs are having trouble recognising the network drives and I can run the backups manually using ViceVersa Pro so it seems the problem has something to do with VVEngine only. I haven't changed the configuration of the network other than to move to Windows 8 on the host machine.
Any help would be appreciated. |

The drives are mapped. This has worked well in the past when I was operating under Windows 7.

Success, I've replaced all the mapped drives with the underlying path and the backups are now working. Thank you for the suggestion - though it still seems an odd problem to arise. Thanks again for the help.
Cheers,
