I would like to sync between my Windows 7 PC and my nexus 7 android tablet. Although through windows 7 Explorer I can find the path to the target (Computer\Nexus 7\Internal storage), I'm not able to navigate to the target through the vice versa 'Explorer' dialogue. There is no item on the tree hierarchy for the Nexus 7 tablet.
I would like to know how to do this, please.

Hi, I think Android Nexus 7 only supports MTP when connecting to Windows not UMS. That means that the Android Nexus 7 appears as a DEVICE and not as a DISK. ViceVersa does not support MTP yet, but are working on it and planning to support it soon. thanks

Sorry no news at the moment, this feature is on hold right now. One of the reasons is that we think users more and more use cloud services to sync their mobile phones rather than connecting directly to a PC.

This would be a mistake:
Everybody assumes a quick internet connection. This is not the case in many places in the world.
If I want to sync a movie or music to my phone it should happen within a few minutes, not hours or days....
If Internet speed is good and at home: Wi-Fi drains the battery way to quickly, I have it disabled when the phone goes to sleep.
I have no LTE at my work, at my home or at my new house, sometimes not even mobile reception... so the cloud could not even do it in the background (let alone my Data allowance of 2GB would be reached way to quickly).
Additionally it is a safety issue: I do not want all my data to go around the Internet just to transfer it on a phone 50cm away from my PC.
I surely hope this feature is going to be looked at in the future.
BTW: There seems to be no really good software around: Everybody is working with a workaround or flawed FTP Servers. A good App on Android (or from the PC) to allow syncing of ALL data FROM the Android phone is really missing (Think backup of the whole phone, not just portions of it! Also of course the other way round by putting relevant data on the phone from the PC)!
Try doing a search for something like: "Drive letter in Android for data transfer" you get A LOT of questions and rarely satisfying answers. So your software could be the solution for many people out there.

I think modern Android phones unfortunately no longer allow access to all files from the PC. The MTP protocol only allows access to photos and media.
