Hi,

I am using vvEngine in windows service mode to move around 2TB of user data to a new server, it was working fine, but now it seems to want to run a full recomparison each run.

I have vvengine configured with time scheduling, run every 15mins, only if file changes are detected in source (monitoring level 'file level').

I have also tried the "file monitoring" option, the same thing occurs.

Any ideas.

Thanks
Matthew

Hi,

It is saying that more than 10000 changes detected. I don't believe that this is correct however as the source structure is pretty static.

Thanks
Matthew

Hi, check the list of detected changes for the profile under "Detected Changes" -> click on "Show Details and History...", how many changes are listed before it goes into "more than 10000 changes detected".

Hi,

The log advises:
New Changes: 340 files, 465 folders

I have obtained this information by doing the following
1. Open profile
2. Detected changes > show details and history
3. In the first section - detected change for %profilename% - new changes

This number also matches the numbers listed at the end of the jobs jog:

Total Files: 345
Total Folders: 468

Changes Currently Being Processed:
More than 10000 changes, full recomparison required. ... full recomparison underway

Thanks
Matthew

Very strange, can you please disable and then re-enable the profile and then check if it's still happening? If still happening please restart VVEngine and check again. thanks

Hi,
can you please send the VVEngine log to support, please refer to the VVEngine PDF manual for where to find the VVEngine log file.
thanks
