|
|
I get "Target folder not found" on the profile that replicates to my GoFlex Home drive.
Details:
Win7x64 Ultimate, SP1
VVEngine works fine launching VVPro for my USB drive. Network access seems to be the problem.
Troubleshooting:
1) I've saved the UNC path to the drive and target folder in the profile. I browsed to it using VVPro, so it's definitely visible, and typo-free.
2) I've got VVEngine running as a service per this document: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item93.htm
3) VVEngine is running as "Network Service." The profiles are in C:/Windows/ServiceProfiles/NetworkService/ViceVersa PRO
Next step? |

I just tried that. Failure.
>>>
"\\GOFLEX_HOME\GoFlex Home Backup\VVP - Drive D Backup" is not accessible using the credentials entered. Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.
>>>
Am I understanding that correctly? The Network Service account cannot access the network drive if I'm currently logged in on the machine VVE is running on, and am connected to that network drive with my credentials? |

Hi, can you try running the VVEngine service under your credentials instead of the Network Service account? thanks _________________ --

Which set of credentials? My user login (which has full admin rights to the local machine) or my login to the storage device?
When I provide my username and password (which is blank) via the Services panel, Windows gives me an error 1069.
The GoFlex credentials don't exist as a Windows account. I suppose I can create an account with those credentials, identical UID and PASS. Is that what you mean? |

Try creating a new admin account which you will use only for the VVEngine service, but it must have a password. _________________ --
