Hi,
I am new to VVPro, so this may be easily resolved. I have set up a new laptop and am trying to ensure that My Documents is synchronised so that the same files are on both laptops. I have used Source to Target in both directions and this summary tells me that all files are copied (except for one folder where the file name is too long but it is not something i am concerned about here).

I have found at least one file (a microsoft 2013 pdf - which is not ticked "Read Only) which has not copied across. I found it simply because it was a current file I had been working on with my new laptop and went to check it out of interest as a useful test of the system. I have attempted the sychronisation 3 times now, but the system does not recognise there is a problem and there are no error messages to alert me to the problem.

This is naturally a cause for concern - how many others were not copied across and how does one tell when VVPro says the files are identical? What do I need to do to ensure that full synchronisation takes place?

Neil

Hello,

when you compare source and target, does ViceVersa show that files that was not copied on one side only ? Select "View All" and ViceVersa will show all files that it has scanned.

thanks
