Hi,

I'm using VVEngine 2.0 build 2002. My profile is in synchronization mode with a set of Exclude folder masks. VVEngine schedule is set to track changes in target and source for this profile. BUT it seems that VVEngine doesn't know about exclude folders from my profile. It runs the profile every single minute and reporting that "No files/folders need to be copied/deleted.". That's nuts because ViseVersa.exe is using 25% of CPU constantly!

Some questions on this:
1. Is this true that VVEngine is not using Filters settings from Profile?
2. If the 1. is true then my question is: are you planning to make this working proreply? If 1. is not true, please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks,
Sergey

Hi Sergey,
yes, it's true and needs to be improved. Can you give me an example of a file that changes constantly for which you would like the profile not to start? thanks

Hi,

I'm using VVEngine/Vice Versa Pro for synchronization on a Web Farm (two web servers with load balancer). I added each website directory in my profile. I excluded the folders with websites log files (they're located in each website directory and updated constantly). But VVEngine identifies them as changes and keeps running without doing actual sync. I'm trying to keep all websites synchronization settings in one profile in order to have just one ViceVersa process running. My hope that this will prevent high CPU usage if I will have one profile for each website and as a result a set of ViceVersa processes running simultaniously.

Hope this gives you enough to understand the issue. Any advise is appreciated.

Do you have any plans of including this improve into next releases?

Thanks,
Sergey
