After updating to Windows 7, my VV Scheduler Profile fails to recognize the server drive. All of my work is done on the server and backed up to my laptop and then to an external hard drive. The laptop to external drive works as well as ever. However, unless I can find, recognize and backup my server drive to my laptop, it makes no difference. Any ideas why the server drives aren't recognized? They don't even show up! |

Yes I can see the 'H' drive and other drives on the server using Windows Explorer. I use it every day. The drive in question that I want as my source drive has always been mapped as my 'H' drive on the server. Since I changed over to Windows 7 and reloaded my profiles, I have never seen the 'H' drive on the VV Scheduler as being available as a source or target. When I first ran my profile, I got the message "Source File not Found". That was when I realized the the 'H' drive wasn't being recognized. I then added an additional new map to the server and named it 'A' (I left the 'H' alone so there are now 2 maps to the files I want to use as the source. The 'A' mapping showed up on VV Scheduler as expected and worked for the first day only. I created an entirely new profile using the 'A' drive mapping as the source. After the first day neither the 'A' or the 'H' drive showed up as available as a source file. Once again and now I get the message "Source file not found"The 'A' and 'H' drives simply do not show up. BTW, I do see another drive on the server and use it on another profile. Thanks! |
