I use ViceVersa Pro to transfer folders and files from one hard drive to another hard drive, bioth, within my computer. I use "Backup (Mirror Source to Target)". The files seem to transfer fine but the folders' names (which are clients (persons) names) which are all in capital letters in the source do not always transfer to the target as capital letter folder names and in the target end up being small letter folder names ....Please advise....Thank you

Hi, what version and build of ViceVersa are you using and the target drive, what type of drive is it? Also are you using ViceVersa on which version of Windows? thanks!

Thank you for your concern and help...

In answer to your questions:

ViceVersa Pro2.5 Buid 2511

Windows 7 Home Premium

source hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

target hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

hope this answers your questions and leads to a solution as to why the capitali letters folders in the source drive (all the folders in the source drive are typed with capital letters) do not become capital letters folders in the target drive but remain small letter folder names.....after the "Backup (Mirror Source to Target)" I find about half of the folders in the target drive still have folders names which are in small caps names...

Thank you for your help in solving this mystery...

I do not think it would be wise to print copies of the two lists (source and target) of our clients to the openess of this forum- nor would our clients appreciate it- no matter how much we would like to solve this problem..Instead, we retyped (renamed) the small capital names (about 50 percent) in the target drive with capital letters and will let it go at that..

Thanks again for your concern
