Good Morning,

I am currently experiencing a problem with VVScheduler version 2.0.0.5 on Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise that is presently rendering the software inoperable after purchase. I can create a Task, but when I go to save it, I am prompted to enter a user name and password.

The software was installed with a domain admin account. The software is run with the same account. The same domain username and password are being entered to complete the task's creation, and I receive an error message saying the user name and password is incorrect.

I've tried using the local server admin without success. Have tried other admin accounts without success. Is there some default user name and password that is separate from active directory that I'm to use here? I've tried setting and removing password requirements on the profile in Vice Versa's main program and this has not resolved the issue with VVScheduler relating to the profile being used.

Any assistance to allow us to use the software we purchased would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Albert Hailey

Good Afternoon,

I was able to circumvent this problem by using the VV Engine Add-On. Thank you.

Same issue - 2008R2 Standard. Signed in as domain admin, positive credentials are correct, but receiving incorrect password when attempting to create a new task with VVScheduler. I don't have VVEngine, so I need this resolved. I've tried using multiple accounts with domain admin privileges, and all receive the same "incorrect password" error.

I just wanted to follow up on this. I'm able to complete the VVScheduler on all other servers (5 other servers with no problem). The only difference is that the problem server is 08R2 and those that function without problems are 03. Please advise.

Hi, what's an example of account / password you tried? Did you try using the domain name in the account name e.g. domain\useraccount ?
thanks

I've tried all variations for the username: just the user name, domain\username, username@domain - nothing works on the 08R2 box. Do you guys offer any form of remote assistance where you can connect to the box and see the problems firsthand? monitoring the forum for an update isn't very convenient.
