|
|
I am using VVPro 2.5 Build 2511 64bit and VVEngine 2.1 Build V2102 running as a service on a Windows 7 x64 machine.
I have set up a synchronization method, which monitors 5 folders from a source UNC to a target UNC (the target machine is running VVEngine)
Both machines were running overnight. I looks like one of my changes could not be replicated from target to source, so the profile was running every 15 seconds.
Then curiously, at 5.40AM (when I was asleep) almost all files/folders got deleted from the target folder, even though they still exist on the source folder?
This isn't the first time it has happened, but I dismissed it the first time.
Can you tell me how this could happen? And how I can prevent it from happening in the future? I am losing confidence in Vice Versa.
Thanks |

i just ran into this post randomly ... the situation described in the post was quite worrying especially when i'm testing VV in our environment. Wondering what was the culprit in this case? Was it resolved at the end? |

We never worked out what was the issue, but if I am not mistaken we left it that we would continue investigation if the issue would happen again. I think it could have been an issue with the router (if I remember correctly). We never had another issue like this one reported. _________________ --
