Installation Notes

Installing the new ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2510 requires uninstalling the previous version first, but only if you are using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2503 or older.
If uninstalling the previous version is required, a message will be shown during installation.
If you are using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2504 or newer you can simply install the new version without uninstalling the old one.
All previous settings, including all the profiles, are maintained.
VVScheduler and VVLauncher tasks must be re-created, only if you are updating from ViceVersa PRO 2.5 build 2503 or older.
All VVEngine settings are maintained.

Updating from a previous build of ViceVersa PRO 2.5 is free. You can re-use your license code.

Upgrading from ViceVersa PRO 2

Retain folder created and modified timestamps when copying: When this option is activated, ViceVersa will copy and preserve folder timestamps (i.e. the folder created and modified time and date) when copying folders.

Retain Windows EFS encryption when copying/moving: Retain Windows EFS encryption when copying or moving encrypted files and folders. If retaining encryption is not possible (e.g. target file system does not support EFS encryption), then the encrypted file or folder is not copied and an error is reported.

Retain Windows NTFS compression when copying/moving: Retain Windows NTFS compression when copying or moving compressed files and folders. If retaining compression is not possible (e.g. target file system does not support NTFS compression), then the file or folder is not copied and an error is reported.
