Even though the files in my target directory have later modification dates than the files in the source directory, I want to force the source directory to copy into the target directory.
But no matter what I try, it always ignores the files and says nothing needs to be copied.
The relevant profile settings are:
Comparison Method: I've tried everything
Execution Method: Replication (Update Target)
The default settings are set for everything else.
Is this a bug or am I not understanding something?
Running Vice Versa Pro 2.5 Build 2502. |

Use the option: Replace newer target files with older source files (backup method). It's in profile settings -> advanced settings. thanks _________________ --

Hi, thanks but this option is disabled when I'm using Replication (Update). I assume it is only available if you use the Backup method? The downside is I won't be able to preserve deleted files in the target. |

You could copy the older files once manually from within the ViceVersa comparison window, or is it a situation that could happen often ? _________________ --
