I am getting terrible (~900kbps) performance when copying small files (~20-100kb). Are there any performance tweaks I can make to the software to increase the transfer rate?
To offer a comparison, on the same server when copying larger files (100-5000kb), I get 8-10MBps. |

Hi , did you try the new options in ViceVersa PRO 2.5 build 2509 , "use native file copy" and "unbuffered file copy" ? What connection is between source and target folders?
thanks _________________ --

The connection is a 1Gb switch that is dedicated to this operation. The only two devices connected to the switch are the file server and the NAS device.
Can you clarify where those settings are? I do not see either of them in the settings. |

Hello,
The only options I see there are
Process Priority
Performance / Bandwidth Throttling
File Copy Optimization > Flush buffer every write
Network Friendly Folder Scanning |
