File changes are only detected in root of folder - sub-folders is selected. I added specific sub-folder (see settings below) ... changes still not detected in that sub-folder.
Have turned various settings on & off (incl. sub-folders) & restarted VVEngine.
I've been using VV fine for some years. Until last week had 'file-store' PC (XPPro) pushing copies to USB external drive. This USB drive has died.
Now have WD MyBookLive on (wired) network, and pulling files from it to 'file-store' PC. I modified scripts for new source/target, not using drive map letters.
What ever I do, only file changes in the root of "\\Mbl01\IRL\WORD-right\" will kick off VVEnigne.
What is wrong? How can it be fixed? Your help will be much appreciated!
See settings:
Folders
- Source: "\\Mbl01\IRL\WORD-right\"
- Target: "\\Fuji-d\Drive E\WORD-right\" (Archived)
- Include Subfolders: Yes
- Create sources/targets that do not exist
- Exclude files: "*.tmp"
- Exclude files: "*.bak"
- Include subfolders: "\\Mbl01\IRL\WORD-right\00 - Clients\"
Comparison
- Comparison Type: Size and Timestamp
- Ignore any second difference
Execution
- Method: Replication (Update Target)
- Log File: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa PRO 2\log4.log" (max 10000 KB) (empty log file each run)
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- Archive deleted/replaced target files to: "E:\VVarchive\WORD-right\"
- Smart archive
- Copy files even if timestamp changes after initial comparison _________________ Regards

VVEngine 1.1 (Build 7)
Someone suggested it's a problem between Windows (ViceVersa) and Linux (on the WD My Book Live drive) ... they don't speak to each other about file changes. |
