Installation Notes

Installing ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2508 requires uninstalling the previous version first, but only if you are using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2503 or older. If uninstalling the previous version is required, a message will be shown during installation.
All previous settings, including all the profiles, are maintained.
VVScheduler and VVLauncher tasks must be re-created, only if you are using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 build 2503 or older.
All VVEngine settings are maintained.

Upgrading from a Previous Build of ViceVersa PRO 2.5

Upgrading from a previous build of ViceVersa PRO 2.5 is free. You can re-use your license code.

What's New in ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2508

NEW Sending e-mail on execution success and/or execution error can now be made conditional. Example of conditions:


dayofweek = 1 (send e-mail only on Mondays).
elapsed_days > 1 (send e-mail only if the last e-mail was sent at least 1 day ago).
error_email_elapsed_hours > 12 (send e-mail only if the last error e-mail was sent at least 12 hours ago).
exit_code isnotoneof {3,10} (send e-mail only if the exit code is not 3 or 10).
runs_since_last_email > 5 (send e-mail only if the the profile has run at least 5 times since the last e-mail, that is, send error e-mail only every 5 runs)
running_process_exists("outlook.exe") = false (send e-mail only if the the process outlook.exe is not running)
has_changes = true (send e-mail only if some files or folders were copied or deleted)
incremental = false (send e-mail only if the profile run is not an incremental VVEngine run, based on detected changes)

NEW Recovery E-Mail: if a profile recovers (i.e. profile execution is successful after a previous error) a recovery e-mail is automatically sent.

NEW Improved Rescan Condition: rescan condition now supports many more variables. For example: file_exists, folder_exists, running_process_exists, ip_address_matches, get_env and a lot more. See help file for complete list.

FIXED Fixed issue with real-time incremental scanning if subfolder casing is not matching in source and target.
