|
|
The profiles now fail when run under VVlauncher with the following error:
"[ERROR] "\\10.15.1.116\images" is not accessible using the credentials entered in the profile settings. A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated."
Source: \\?\UNC\192.168.50.41\Images\2012
Target: \\?\UNC\10.15.1.116\Images\2012
username on source: administrator
username on target: imagecopy
passwords are different for source and target
When run manually via ViceVersa they work fine.
Any and all responses are welcome in determining the cause of this issue.
Thanks in advance, |

VVLauncher was not initially setup to run as a service, but after the forum thread, I installed and started the service. Unfortunately, I'm getting the same results.
More details, I'm copying data from one server to another server and they have the same local administrator name and password but they are seperate servers with unique SIDs
For example, Server 1: Username: administrator, Password: Letmein
Server 2: Username: administrator, Password: Letmein
Server 1 and Server 2 are not joined by Active Directory.
I've modified VVLauncher on Server 1 to Logon as Username: administrator, Password: Letmein
Additional assistance is needed.

Try to enter the logon credential for the target server in the ViceVersa profile, in profile settings -> folders -> network. _________________ --

When I first created the profile I entered the credentials there and it works as intended. The problem here is that it doesn't work when the profile is ran/executed with VVEngine.
So once again, if this is possible to replicate/copy data between to seperate computers where the source is in an Active Directory Domain and the target is not in an Active Directory Domain using VVEngine.
Note: The credentials supplied in the profile are NOT Active Directory credentials... they are local credentials ".\username" |

Hi, you should be able to run VVEngine as a service under the local account and enter the user name + password for the target in profile settings -> folders -> network... under which account in the VVEngine service setup to run? _________________ --

I get the error when following your suggestion,
[ERROR] "\\10.15.X.116\Images\Adult" is not accessible using the credentials entered in the profile settings. A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated.
The above error message is generated from VVEngine. If I run my profile manually with no changes in the profile it runs.
My status Details is Target folder not found. (...How can this be when I execute it manually and it runs without an issue...)
The VVEngine Service is using Local System account as the Log on as:
My version of VVEngine is v2.1 Server Premium (Build 2101)
This can't be this hard to find resolution!! |
