I am evaluating ViceVersa Pro and VVEngine on a Windows 7 platform. After creating a profile and configuring VVEngine, everything was working perfectly last night. This morning, after modifying a monitored file, VVEngine did not launch the profile. I have not made any changes to the configuration since last night. The log shows the last successful entry, and VVEngine is running in the system tray.

A short while after posting this original message, I restarted my computer, and two error messages appeared on the desktop. The first was a Vice Versa Pro error, stating that the profile could not be opened for reading. The other was a message from Norton Internet Security, advising that an intrusion from VVEngine had been blocked, and requesting permission to allow that program access (which I granted). Mirroring of files has now resumed. But this doesn't quite explain why everything worked yesterday and failed today.
