I have used the program last night to successfully backup all files from one file server to the new one. After it finished I went through the files on the target machine and noticed that the folders that are supposed to be shared are not. I need them to be exactly how they are on the source server with share permissions and all.
Is there something I missed during the profile creation that would cause it to copy all NTFS permissions but leave off the shared flag with it permissions?
Please respond. |

Folder share info are stored in the registry settings, it is a feature of the Operative System, not of the file system... ViceVersa does not change that, sorry. _________________ --

So you are saying that your program is suppose to sync file and folders between servers but it will not create the share on the new server the way it was setup from the source?
Secure copy from script logic will do it and I assumed that your program was suppose to have the same functionality. |
