|
|
I am unable to get VV scheduler to work. Once I've set everything up and entered a password in the task editor section, it constantly returns incorrect password. I've left the username the name of the computer and have changed this too. Even though the password Im entering is the same as the one I've just added, it does not work.
What can I do to get it to work please? |

Hi, you are using the same account and password used to login Windows and are receiving the "password incorrect" message? Is this a domain account or local? thanks _________________ --

|
|
Hi,
I am having the same problem as a few other people.
When I try to set up a schedule, I am asked for a user name and password (in a windows dialog box). The PC has no password. no pasword was set in the VV schedule.
If I leave the password field blank and click OK, I get "incorrect password" error.
Is this because it can't handle no password? I really don't want to have ot add a password to the shared family PC!
I got round this by running as a service for a few months, but now i need two profiles, and it seems i can't run both as a service simultaneously
Any help appreciated!
THanks
Alan |

VVScheduler does require a password to schedule tasks, however there's a solution: use VVEngine instead. VVEngine supports multiple profiles and does not require account passwords to run. thanks _________________ --

I'm having the same problem. Signed onto server as domain admin and unable to create a new tast in VVScheduler (incorrect password error). I know I'm typing the correct password for this account. Please advise. |

Please provide an update as I'm unable to schedule VVPro to backup/replicate after hours. I don't want to purchase VVEngine to accomplish this as I'm able to do this on all of our other servers with VVScheduler. Please advise. |

Hi, what's the difference between the servers where VVScheduler works and the server where it does not accept the password? thanks _________________ --
