ok got it. So its caching the file/folder information and so not having to scan for that information. And you then set a period for when it should do a full scan to make sure everything is still in sync. |

Yes, correct, ViceVersa caches file and folder info in the tracking db.
For the "no rescan" option that info is used to speed-up the comparison. That's useful if you know the target has not changed (or not changed much) since last time ViceVersa run. Then you can use the Rescan Condition to periodically force a rescan (or it can be forced manually from ViceVersa or VVEngine). _________________ --
