Hi I am currently running the trial of VV pro to backup one NAS drive to another NAS drive. The max speed achived is 5Mbps but do get considerably less than this at times when using in VV but if I manually copy from one drive to another I can easily get 10-12Mbps.
I have tried using the option of copying direct no temp file but it makes no difference.
Yesterday I dropped 30Gb onto the main NAS drive (About 40mins to copy over) and it has been syncing for hours now.

Any help/advice apperciated.

Sohail

Hello,

make sure the process priority is not set to "IDLE" in profile settings -> performance.

thanks

Hi

The priority is set to default I have changed to Normal and also incresed the buffer size to maximum. This has made an drastic improvement but still around 25% slower than direct copy via explorer. I have also switched off logging and other check are being done such as crc.
Is this the best performace or are there any other tweaks which will improve things further.

Thanks

Sohail
