I am having problems with the VVLauncher service. I can only get the service to start if I manually stop the service using the VVLauncher Service Installation program. I have tried uninstalling the service and re-installing it, and uninstalling and reinstalling the program but it has made no difference. I am running v2.5 build 2504 under Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and the InstServ.log is as follows;

Service VVLauncher installed
Start service
Ran service VVLauncher.
Killed service VVLauncher.
Killed service VVLauncher.
Killed service VVLauncher.
Killed service VVLauncher.
ControlService failed, error code = 1062
Failed to kill service VVLauncher.
Service VVLauncher removed

OpenService failed, error code = 1060
Failed to run service VVLauncher.

Sorry for not being clear. What I mean is that the VVLauncher service icon is not shown at all in the taskbar notification area upon start-up, and only appears (and starts operating) if I manually stop the service using the VVLauncher Service installation program.

After having setup VVLauncher as service, try to click on the VVLauncher program icon. Does it show on the taskbar.
If you are trying to run ViceVersa profiles as service I really recommend the VVEngine add-on: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/vvengine/vvengine.htm
The support for services in VVLauncher is very basic, VVEngine is a LOT more powerful, including the interface. thanks

After clicking on the VVLauncher program icon it shows on the taskbar with an error "Target folder not found". The log file shows Exit Code 14 for all of the monitored folders.

Opening task manager shows two VVLauncher.exe processes, one owned by SYSTEM and one owned by myself. If I kill the process I have just launched, and kill the process owned by the SYSTEM using the VVLauncher Service Installation program (by pressing stop service), then VVLauncher restarts automatically and works correctly.
