For making edits to a profile, attempting to change menus on the left side of VV will fail if the tracking database is enabled, but the specified drive is unavailable (such as if it is at a home location, while the user is traveling). VV will insist on creating the tracking database, and clicking "no", will not allow you to change menu views. So, you end up stuck on the "Execution" menu.

Hi,

You are right, in that case it is needed to empty the tracking database field or change its location. Please note that it is recommended to keep the tracking db on a local disk as opposed to the network.

thanks

The tracking database is kept on the backup drive, which is a local disk when it is in use. When it is not in use, the bug prevents preparation of VV profiles prior to deployment.

It is not a user error, it is a serious bug that blocks usage of the software.
