I'm trying to sync two PCs connected to large NAS servers using multiple USB disks and multiple profiles. The profiles are written for specific USB drives but they don't seem to be able to distinguish between them and will write to the wrong USB disk if I'm not careful what's connected when they launch. The profiles recognize whether a USB drive is connected to a specific letter (E: or F:) but don't consider the drive label (disk1, disk2). How can I write the profiles or configure the USB disks so that a given profile will only run on the USB drive it is written for?
Does specifying disk labels need to be requested as a new feature? |

Hi,
The latest version of ViceVersa PRO supports two folder variables, <label:XXXXXXX> and <serial:XXXXXXX> , see ViceVersa help for more info.
Label expands to the drive letter assigned to the drive with label XXXXXXXX. For example, <label:My-Usb-Drive>:\FolderA\ expands to S:\FolderA\ if the drive letter assigned to the drive with label 'My-Usb-Drive' is 'S'.
Serial expands to the drive letter assigned to the drive with serial XXXXXXXX. For example, <serial:A2FF003E>:\FolderA\ expands to X:\FolderA\ if the drive letter assigned to the drive with serial number 'A2FF003E' is 'X'. _________________ --
