I am working with Vice Versa Plus 2.4.2 in a network setting, Buffalo Linkstation serving as a shared drive. When I manually synch, all works well, although I must confirm an "Update Target" prompt even though the setting indicate no confirmations. With a schedule synch I get these errors

from the ViceVersa log:
2005-12-19 13:43:00 : [ERROR] Target: folder "H:\Backup\NYB Outlook\" can not be created.

from the Task Scheduler log:
"Outlook to backup (H) Drive.job" (ViceVersa.exe)
Finished 12/19/2005 1:43:00 PM
Result: The task completed with an exit code of (2).

Suggestions for fixing?

Should I move to ViceVersa Pro - never had this problem with it

The most common cause for this behavior is that the account used to schedule the ViceVersa task does not have rights to access the folder.
I suggest that you to try ViceVersa PRO 2: it has a better account credentials management.

Thanks for the suggestion - I will try VVPro and report the results.

Thanks - Russ
