Windows 3K. While backing up from a W7 UNC path to this W3K server RAID, I note that the timestamp in the destination window reads a date in 1982, while the source is 2009. The timestamp on the copied file is partially correct (e.g., uses the creation date rather than the modified date).
Also note that the destination Modified Properties field also reads 1982 while the source Modified Properties field reads 2009. Hence your software is changing the file Modified date during the copy.
I'll be happy to provide screen shots of the properties boxes using another medium.
This problem causes copying to halt with an "Overwrite?" box. |

Hi, which version / build of ViceVersa ? What connection do you have between the two computers, LAN or VPN? Is W3K = Windows 2003 ? thanks _________________ --
