I have a file system on one Server, which I would love to mirror onto the other for DFS fallover. But keeping synchronization completely current (bi-directional) is important. NTFRS is so damn slow.

Can Vice-Versa maintain the two folders (say, 200GB, nested folders, tons of ACLs, etc.) and keep all in synch?

Yes, VV can do that. Please note that if only security attributes change for a file but not the file content, the attributes are not synchronized.
