Hi,
I have a Virtual machine (Server 2003) that I would like to back up every hour.
The disks sizes total about 200GB so it is impractical to do a full backup.
Is there any way of just backing up the changes to the VHD every hour
(which would be a max of 1GB) - then maybe merging at the end of the day?
The machine cannot be powered down for these operations.
Cheers

Hello,
That's not possible with ViceVersa, sorry!
However, why do you think the changes in the VHD amount to only 1 GB?
Is that the file size or changes within the file?
thanks _________________ --

That is the max amount of Data change (most of it within SQL tables)
Do you know of any other solution to this? |

Yes - that is the other option - we will probably go with that
Just would have been nice to have a 'live' vm backup |
