My Max upload during backups is pegging out at 121 KBs but I'm on a T-1 (1.5 Mbs) on both ends. Can I kick it up some more?

Running Win 2008R2 Server.

Thanks,

STEVE

Hi ,

1.5 Mbs = 187.5 KBs

Are you getting 121 on small files or large files?

Make sure the option "Process Speed" in the ViceVersa PRO profile settings -> performace is set to Normal.

thanks

I get about 105 KBS UP-loading thru my T-1 but I saw up to 150 MBS backing up locally for my onsite backup.

I have 2 Data Base type programs comprised of lots of small files and then lots of Tiff Files up to 7 megs each (Construction Blue Prints).

I set my backup for night when no one is at my office and "High" Priority. When I used "Normal" the back up seemed to throtle up and down. On high it seems to peg at 105 kbs with just an ocasional throtle down.

Hello,
maybe try a comparison between a ViceVersa copy and a simple copy with Windows Explorer , the two should use about the same time.
thanks
