If this has been answered before, I apologize, but I searched and couldn't find a topic quite like it.
I want to use a Windows XP machine with a huge hard drive to backup a Windows 2000 server. ViceVersa is installed on the XP machine. All of the shares I want to backup are available over the network. Examples are:
\\server\personal
\\server\office
\\server\shared
I have no problems setting each one of these shares up as a source and mirroring them to the local drive using the same structure. Examples are:
C:\server\personal
C:\server\office
C:\server\shared
The problem I'm facing is that I would prefer to just backup \\server and have ViceVersa pickup on all of the shares, directories and subdirectories. If I could get that done somehow, then I would not have to worry that someone would create a new share that would not be backed up until I modified the profile.
Hopefully, I'm making sense enough that you'll understand the question. Thanks |

Hello,
I do not think it's possible because these are level-1 shares and just selecting \\server\ would not work....
thanks _________________ --
