|
|
Latest VV version supports folder variables in tracking database paths But it does not work is the variable is used inside the database name, or inside a *relative* path. It only works if an absolute path is specified.
VV will complain about unvalid < > characters.
eg.
If I specify only:
Project-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb
if complains.
While if I specify:
<profilepath>\<profile>-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb
it is ok. |

Thank you for reporting this. I did not know you could use:
Project-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb
in the tracking db field , without path.
I have added this item in the bug tracking system.
thank you _________________ --

Hi, are you using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2503 or newer? Support for variables in the tracking db was added in that build. thanks _________________ --
