Latest VV version supports folder variables in tracking database paths Smile But it does not work is the variable is used inside the database name, or inside a *relative* path. It only works if an absolute path is specified.
VV will complain about unvalid < > characters.

eg.

If I specify only:
Project-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb

if complains.

While if I specify:

<profilepath>\<profile>-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb

it is ok.

Thank you for reporting this. I did not know you could use:

Project-<MY_ENV_VAR>.tdb

in the tracking db field , without path.

I have added this item in the bug tracking system.

thank you

Hi, are you using ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2503 or newer? Support for variables in the tracking db was added in that build. thanks
