|
|
I've upgraded Vice Versa Pro to build 2503 and now discovered that, upon running, the Source/Target comparision, it's seeing that all files are newer or updated in the source although I know for a fact that most of the files have not changed. Consequently, it's effectively doing a full backup every time instead of an incremental. Is this a bug or do I need to adjust any settings? The previous version that this replaced ran fine without a problem. |

Hello,
Which version were you using previously?
Check the ViceVersa comparison window, where files are shown side-by-side: are the files shown with a different time stamp?

Hi there,
The previous version I was using was build 2502.
I've looked at the timestamp on the comparison and there appears to be a 1 second difference on all the files that are/should be unchanged. This being 1 second earlier on the target which is a Buffalo NAS unit.
I've briefly taken a look at other forum topics which suggest a problem with NAS units. Is this the same? |

Hello,
it's probably the issue between NTFS and FAT32 file system. The NAS is probably formatted as FAT32 and Windows as NTFS. To workaround this issue, enable the option "Ignore up to 2 seconds difference between files" in profile settings -> comparison
