Hello,
I am successfully using ViceVersa to back up files and for one of my VV scripts I direct VV to move a Target file to an archive folder before backing up the latest version of the file. I am also requesting encryption of all of the files that are backed up.
I am able to use the "Compare" feature on the main app's window to recover a backed up file (if I 1st move the original file out of the source folder so that the comparison shows it as missing). Once the comparison is done, I can simply drag the file I want from the backup folder (in the Compare window) over to the source folder and it is automatically decrypted and copied back to the source folder.
However, I cannot see how to do this for a file that has been moved into an archive folder. The Compare window does not let me "point" to the folder where files have been archived. Since the files are encrypted I can't just manually copy the desired file from the archive.
How do I "get back" an encrypted file that has been archived?
Thank you. |
