Wish to Copy only TimeStamps to Matching Files

I sometimes mass copy a drive of data using other software that stamps all files with the copy time, not the original file dates. If I later want to backup from the primary source over to that drive, timestamps don't match. I'd like to match the files using File Size (ignore Timestamp), then for matching files copy over the timestamp but not copy the entire file, to save time. This is different than wanting to overwrite files with newer dates. I want to overwrite the newer (or different) dates of the existing files without copying over them again.

me too!
i have some mp3's altered without my consent by a player, i want to restore these mp3 from backup but I want ctimes/mtimes restored, too! also directories mtimes.
