I think I'm having a problem running VVPro and VVEngine on the same system as MS Virutal Server 2005 and I want to find out if anyone else has had a similar situation or if it is known that these two cannot reside together on one system.
I have one VM runnign in Virtual Server 2005 which is Win XP Pro as the guest on a Win 2003 Server Enterprise x64 host, and I have found that when VVEngine is running a profile, Virtual Server will most likely hang. I have to either reboot the server (not good), or use a process I put together to force Virtual Server to shut down completely and restart. So far I haven't lost anything in the guest VM, but I think I've been lucky.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Environment:
VVPro v.2.5 build 2502
VVEngine v.2.0 build 2002
OS: Win Server 2003 Enterprise x64 |

Hi, are you using Volume Shadow Copies in ViceVersa? There are no known issues between the two, the only thing I can think of is some Volume Shadow Copy incompatibilities.
thanks _________________ --
