Hi, I'm testing VV pro and found this problem while at it. It's a backup between two computers in the same domain. VV is run directly through administrator console in the target.
The problem is that while user permissions are replicated, group permissions are not. via windows explorer the source perms can be checked and are ok, but they aren't on the target. The options to copy permissions are checked (every combination possible tried out).
Thanks,

I'd say "yes?". When I set the same groups on the root target folder they are by default inherited to all subfolders and it seems it works well, If I deactivate inheritance, subfolder groups aren't being set by VV. I mean, if the source root folder has more groups than some of its subfolders, that isn't replicated well, target subfolders inherit their groups from the target root folder
thanks for the diligence,
