|
|
Hello Team,
We've configured ViceVersa on Windows 2003 to run as a service and we are syncing files when ever there is a change.
The application is working as expected. But it is creating temp files under user profile in c:\Documents and Settings, which are not getting deleted automatically. As a result, the C:\ is getting full.
1. Is there a setting to change the temp file location?
2. Is it a bug that the files getting created does not get deleted?
3. What are these temp files for?
Thanks,
Naresh Thallam |

Hello,
in a past version of ViceVersa PRO this could happen in certain rare cases, but the issue should be fixed now. Which version are you using?

The Vice Versa Version on Pro 2.5(Build 2500).
Would you suggest us to upgrade to the latest available build/Software version? |

Yes, I do recommend to upgrade to the latest build 2503 (free if you already have version 2.5). If issue still not fixed, please let us know.

|

Hi there, I'm having the same problem running VVEngine 2.0 (Build 2.003)
Is it safe to delete these tmp files? They are taking up 2GB+ of space on C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Temp
We don't have any scope to upgrade to latest version.
Thanks! |

Hi, yes they can be deleted manually. Are you using ViceVersa PRO 2.5? If positive you can update to the latest build 2511 (free) and this issue should be fixed. thanks _________________ --
