Using VVPro 2.5 with an external hard disk

[PageUp]

I've been getting lots of unsynced files using "synchronization" i.e. newer files not copied over; delected files remain etc.

I upgraded from VVPro 1.1 to VVPro 2.5 hoping this will solve the problem but no such luck.

I've put in "\\?\" for long file names, but the problem still persists. Anyone with any advice on this?

Hi,

Tried it. Received message as follow:

Source: folder "\\?\P:\June\\" not found. Do you want to create it?

Does this mean we're unable to use long file names when running in administrator mode?

I set up a new profile with the long file names and synchronized to a new target directory.

The same thing is still happening: newer files are not copied over, and deleted files/folders still remain.

How does ViceVersa handle renaming of folders? Would renaming cause the problems described above?

Any further suggestions?
