|
|
Hi,
I just bought ViceVersa PRO with VSS. (I run it on a SBS2008 server)
It's a very good package. I have one issue though:
I have five source paths to backup. So they are configured within a profile. Four of those source paths are local and one is a networked share. (all destinations are one a networked path)
I need the shadow copy feature for the first four source paths, but then the copy fails on the fifth path because it is not a local drive.
Is there a way to set this feature individually per path, or is there a way to just ignore the 'not a local drive' error and have it continue with 'normal copy' for that particular path (without the error bells)
??
Hope to hear soon. Thanks!

Hi,
local paths and network shares can't be mixed when using the shadow copy feature... the work around is to setup a separate profile for the network share without shadow copy for that profile,
thanks _________________ --
