I'm using the evaluation copy of ViceVersa Pro and a copy across my network is failing after what seems to be the same interval of runtime.
The most recent message is
Copying "DSC01229.JPG" (2.58MB) ... [Error renaming temp file L:\Photos Raw 1\Cybershot20090713China1dup\~vv1.tmp. Unable to rename L:\Photos Raw 1\Cybershot20090713China1dup\~vv1.tmp into L:\Photos Raw 1\Cybershot20090713China1dup\DSC01229.JPG. The specified network name is no longer available.] Error.
The recurring error is--The specified network name is no longer available. Error.
Running Vista Ultimate latest service pack. No trouble with other accesses.
Any insight on this?

Thanks for your response. I resolved the problem completely by reinstalling
the NIC driver and using the \\Server\disk\directory instead of the
networked mapped drive.
Thanks. |
