I cannot find any references on the Forum to backup Scheduled Tasks.

Pls Help is there an option or a way of backing up a list of scheduled task as required,.. and restoring them later if required without having to go through the hassle of re-entering them manually one-by-one.

Tx

Hi, backup / restore on the same machine or a different machine? Alternatively you could temporarily disable the tasks.
thanks

Sorry,.. miss-understanding,. poor english,... what I want to be able to do is create a "backup" of the Scheduled jobs,...

So I can do a restore of the PC from an old backup,.. then update the VV scheduled jobs from and xml script,.. or something so that I don't have to enter all the setting one by one.

does that make more sense???

Regards

Hi, yes, the profile settings are contained in the files .fsf which can be backed up and restored. VVScheduler tasks can't be backed up, they need to be recreated. VVLauncher can be backed up by copying the file VVLauncher.ini , VVEngine by copying the file VVEngine.xml
thanks

Yes I was OK with the .fsf files, it was the VVscheduler tasks I really wanted to "backup".
This is somewhat disappointing, as it can be a real pain to enter 30 or so tasks...

Can this request be put on the wish list for future upgrades

Thanks

Yes, but I'd recommend VVEngine.
