I'm a long time user of VV, but recently, I purchased QNAP unit to use it for my backups.
I noticed that most of the files of my backup set are copied every time backup is run.
Every time on the status screen I see green + on the source side, and red - on the target, but files were never touch since the last backup. They have same size as well as date and time listed.
Files are of various types. So far I noticed some .mov, .jpg, and .xls, but I'm sure there are more.
I'm concerned, as I wanted to use VV on a server to maintain backup of directory of almost 2TB. I do not want to copy 90% of files every time.
I use Replication ( Update Target )
If I do it manually, the system ask me to Overwrite or Skip files.
If I select Overwrite, it will do it, but next time it asks again.
If I select Skip.... it skips, but.... next time asks again of course.
Any pointers will be appreciated. |

Hi, check the timestamps of the files on the QNAP, do they match the file timestamp of the source files? thanks _________________ --
