VV job (backup - mirror source to target) from NTFS partition on Windows server to NAS partition runnin CIFS. Have re-created permissions with the exception of local accounts on the server. Have copy permissions etc checked in the profile - getting the following on some files "This security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object. Error"

The job is scheduled to Run as - a domain account which should have sufficient rights?

"Can not copy Owner information to folder"
"This security ID may not be assigned as the owner of this object. Error."

I've checked the permissions of the actual user who is the owner and the permissions are identical on each side. The message in the log is not detailed enough - is it referring to the ID being used for the job?

Hi,

any warning related to being unable to acquire privileges in the log, they are normally shown marked with [WARNING]

thanks
