|
|
Hi,
I just installed v2 of VVEngine, ans would like to use the gadget. Running ViceVersa PRO 2.5 64 bit.
VVEngine is running properly at 127.0.0.1:8001. The toolbar icon correctly changes colors etc... according to the current status.
But the gadget keeps saying "VVEngine nout found or access is denied".
When I open the options panel of the gadget and then close it, it first says "No profiles set up in VVEngine", and then after a refresh I get the first message.
Please advise what I should do.
Here are all the settings:

Of course, first thing I did. Running plain standard on the same machine. Taskbar icon shows status, so it fine there. Running on standard 127.0.0.1:8001, no password set. |

No need to post. Looking at the file, I immediately spotted the problem: some of my profile files (*.fsf files) had accentuated characters in the filename (E.g. é and è). Those where causing XML parsing error (parser stops at first occurence of such a character).
Renamed the files, and now its OK.
Thanks,
JF |

Hi,
The gadget has stopped working again, since february 1st...
Reason: I have a French system, and February in French is Février, mind the accentuated "é". This generates again a parsing error in gadget.xml...
Can I post the file in this forum?
